Small numbers of registered breeding stock are available upon request. We select replacement ewes every year based on phenotype, wool quality and color and register sheep through the American Romeldale/CVM Association. We utilize micron counts to aid in replacement selection. We lamb in April and look at replacements in the fall.

We We are a working farm/ranch so with the exception of a few animals, there is always something for sale!
With that being said, certain times in the management cycle work better for us (and for your pocket-book). For example: from April through ~September/October, most ewes have lambs on them. A ewe with twins on her are going to be a bit more expensive because we have so much cost into breeding, vaccinations and feed into the lambs. They are also a little trickier to transport.
We usually turn rams in the beginning of November and leave them in for at least 2 heat cycles. So coming mid-November is probably not your best bet if you are hoping for a bred ewe.
The best time to come by and pick out ewe lambs and the occasional ram lamb is after weaning in September/October.
We aren't in the ram business, but we keep a few ram lambs we really like for fun and we have a handful of rams we use for breeding that we rotate and some can be sold.
All animals are registered. Ewe lambs and ram lambs don't get registered until sold, but the fee is included in the sale price but can take the registry a few weeks to process. We register with the American Romeldale Association.

$275 for registered ewe lambs, yearlings or 2/3 year olds.

Rams $300
Starter flock: 3 ewes and one ram $1050
At this time, we do not preg-check because our ewes do pretty well on their own! If you are interested in preg-checking or a health inspection to get you into another state we can check with our vet. If you are interested in any lab work for animal health/disease or genetics we can coordinate and draw blood samples.
We welcome farm visits anytime just give us a few days notice.
We love seeing new folks start flocks and are always happy to help, even if it means choosing another breed or another breeder!
We usually don't sell just one sheep, unless you already have other sheep or goats. Prey animals like to have friends (besides just us, despite what we might tell ourselves). A bottle lamb would be an exception, they just don't seem to care!
